The TS420 is a compact and robust 3.2-kWcut-off machine (350mm/14" cutting wheel) created by STIHL.
The STIHL TS420 is a compact, yet high-powered petrol cut-off saw, which features an integrated water supply ensuring the saw is lubricated for hard materials, whilst also suppressing harmful dust particles. It has extremely low vibration levels, making it more comfortable and easier to use.

Reduced Emission Technology Petrol powered saws often produce a high amount of carbon emissions, which are damaging for both the user, surrounding people and the environment. This can cause respiratory diseases, asthma and allergies. The STIHL TS410 omits significantly less fuel emissions than other petrol powered saws (up to 20%), ensuring a safer environment for the user.
Manual Fuel Pump (Purger) - At just the touch of a button, a small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor. This means that you don't have to pull the starter cable several times before getting the machine to power to life. This means you can get on with your jobs quicker, and provides less stress on the worker.
Water Supply - The standard water connection supplies water to the cutting wheel. There is also a sprinkler system integrated into the STIHL TS420 to suppress the dust that is created when cutting. The water supply has been created in a way so that it does not interfere with your work.
Pre-Separation Air Filtration System - Stihl long-life air filtration systems provide the cut-off saw with a considerably longer filter life compared to other filter systems.
Anti-Vibration System - Workers who are exposed to high amounts of intense vibration when using machines can impact long-term health implications as it can lead to long-term effects on the blood vessels in the hands and arms. The STIHL TS420 machine includes an anti-vibration system which significantly decreases vibrations at the handles due to the oscillations from the machines engine being dampened.
Ergonomic Grip Position - The machine can be tailored for each user so that they are working with their optimal grip position.
Semi Automatic Drive Belt Tensioning - This feature increases the service life of the belt and shaft bearings.
