What is T-Matting?

T-Matting is a new and unique innovation, designed specifically for ‘Narrow’ and ‘Micro’ trenching applications - which is becoming a popular method for the installation of fibre broadband networks.

T-Matting is a unique product to CiD and has been developed in conjunction with contractors, local authorities and network providers around the UK.

Key Benefits of T-Matting:

  • Footways can remain open so it provides minimal disruption to the public.
  • Protects against water ingress, depressions and shrinkage further down the line.
  • Highly visible for additional public safety.
  • Tested to BS7976 slip test.

This is not a bridging device and should always be used with support of ground.

T-Matting should not be used for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions - please refer to the manufacturer for further information.
